Intelliscape Directors, Alastair Cobb and Megan O’Connor, have been appointed as Committee Members for the ITS (UK) Safety Technology Forum and the Women in ITS Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for them to share their extensive experience within the intelligent transport sector, but also to represent Intelliscape and influence future industry strategy.
Alastair
The Safety Technology Forum examines how the safety of transport users—across both the road network and public transport—can be improved. Alastair’s appointment provides a strong platform to highlight how Intelliscape contributes to these goals today, as well as to explore how we can continue advancing safety outcomes in the future.
Alastair’s experience spans the defence, telecommunications, aerospace, and power generation sectors. From 2009 to 2020, he worked across rail, automotive, road, air traffic control, and public transport, including projects on autonomous bus systems, vehicle-to-infrastructure trials, air traffic flow management, and degraded-mode rail signalling. His specialism lies in operational leadership and dependable delivery across teams and programmes for business-critical, data-intensive systems.
Megan
The Women in ITS (WITS) Group aims to support gender diversity across the sector. WITS works in partnership with other initiatives to encourage women to join the industry, support their professional development, and provide a platform for sharing knowledge and experience.
With over 20 years in the intelligent transport sector, Megan is passionate about helping teams deliver excellent outcomes for customers. She focuses on collaborative delivery, clear communication, and creating smooth, successful projects that make a meaningful difference to transport operations.
With decades of experience across intelligent transport systems, digital services, mobility innovation, and cross sector delivery, Megan brings valuable insight to the committee and will continue to strengthen the sector through her leadership.
